2. ID Proof Handling & Cloudinary Storage

When you upload identity documents (like Aadhaar or College ID) or property images, these files are securely stored using Cloudinary, our third-party media storage provider. We do not store raw images on our own servers. Document access is restricted to the specific PG Owner you book with and our administrative compliance team.

3. Payment Information

SnapStay does not process or store sensitive credit card or bank account details on our servers. All financial transactions are securely processed by Cashfree Payments, an RBI-regulated payment gateway. Cashfree handles your payment data securely according to PCI-DSS compliance standards.

4. Third-Party Integrations

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate SnapStay:

• Cashfree: For secure payment processing and vendor KYC.
• Cloudinary: For image, video, and document storage.
• Resend: For delivering transactional emails (OTPs, booking confirmations).
• Future Integrations: We plan to integrate WhatsApp APIs for instant notifications, which will strictly adhere to your communication preferences.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to maintain your session (e.g., keeping you logged in) and to track basic website analytics to understand how users interact with our platform. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the platform.

6. Account Deletion Policy

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. If you delete your account, we will purge your identity documents from our Cloudinary storage. However, we may retain certain transactional records (e.g., payment receipts, booking histories) as required by law for auditing and compliance purposes.
