Important Disclaimer
SnapStay acts exclusively as a technology platform connecting students with PG owners and facilitating digital operations. SnapStay does not own, manage, or operate any real estate properties listed on the platform. Property owners are solely responsible for listing accuracy, and SnapStay is not directly responsible for physical property disputes.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SnapStay platform (website, mobile application, and related services), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Account Responsibilities
Users (both students and owners) must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. SnapStay reserves the right to suspend accounts providing fraudulent information.
3. Role of SnapStay
SnapStay provides a digital ecosystem to discover accommodations, process payments, and generate documentation. We facilitate transactions but do not enter into the actual rental agreements. Rental agreements generated via SnapStay are strictly between the Student and the PG Owner.
4. Owner Responsibilities
- Owners are entirely responsible for the accuracy of their property listings, photos, and availability.
- Owners must comply with all local laws, health codes, and safety regulations.
- Owners are responsible for setting and honoring their own refund and house rules policies.
- Owners must honor bookings confirmed through the SnapStay platform.
5. Student Responsibilities
- Students must physically verify the property conditions if needed, though SnapStay performs basic platform verification.
- Students are bound by the house rules set by the PG Owner.
- Students are responsible for timely rent payments and adhering to the notice period specified in their digital agreement.
6. Payment Terms
Payments made through SnapStay are processed via secure third-party gateways (e.g., Cashfree). SnapStay may charge a nominal convenience or platform fee, which is non-refundable. Security deposits are held by the PG Owner, not SnapStay.
7. Dispute Handling Limitation
While SnapStay provides digital audit trails, payment logs, and agreement documentation to assist in conflict resolution, we are not a legal mediator. Disputes regarding deposit deductions, property damage, or evictions must be resolved directly between the Owner and the Student.
8. User Conduct Rules
Users agree not to:
- Submit false identity or KYC documents.
- Bypass the SnapStay payment system to defraud the platform.
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapStay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, the properties listed, or the actions of other users.
